     The Records Division is staffed by a records supervisor and 3 full-time clerks and handles Freedom of Information requests; requests for incident and accident reports; hiring officers for traffic duty and/or special events; applications for pistol permits, pawnbrokers, precious metals dealers and other administrative and clerical functions for the Department.

     It is open to the general public Monday - Friday, excluding holidays, from 7AM - 4PM and can be reached by calling (860) 872-9126 option 4.
