"July in the Sky" 2007 - Annual Fireworks Display

Date & Time:  Monday July 2nd
Raindate: Tuesday July 3rd
Locations: Henry Park (120 South Street) or Rockville Center (downtown)

Facilities open at 6 PM
Entertainment and food at both locations
Parking/Admission Fee (Henry Park only): $5.00 per car, $1.00 per person for walk-ins
Donations can be made at multiple locations in Rockville Center
Fireworks will begin at dark (around 9:30 PM)

Parking available in Rockville Center at the following sites:

St. Bernard's Church
Rockville Professional Center (West Main St)
Rockville Bank (Park St)
Union Congregational Church (Elm St)
Town Hall
Board of Education (School St)

    Officer James J. Grady, was promoted to detective on 12/31/07. Ofc. Grady
joined the Department in 1996 and previously was assigned to the Patrol Division
as a K-9 handler.

    Officer Christopher Hunt replaces Grady as K-9 handler.

    New police recruits attend the CT Police Academy for 22 weeks of basic law enforcement training followed by another 16 weeks of Department training in the FTO Program.
